Some of you have been trying without success to post to the blog. I went ahead and modified the user settings so anyone can post now without registering. Please let me know if you are still unable to post.
They keep us pretty busy here with the different departmental government visits and paperwork, but they always manage to throw in a nice detour to the local Starbucks, shopping plaza or jade market afterwards.
Sheila will post more later today. For those of you who are sick of the baby pictures I’ll throw in some local site-seeing images later.

Hi Dan and Sheila,
We have greatly enjoyed being apart of this amazing time in your families life. Your beautiful little girl, leaves us speechless. She is just gorgeous. We have not cried so many happy tears all at once.
We are here in California for Christmas and our entire family now knows the story of Chaeli’s journey to Byrd household and everyone will be praying for all of you.

“Oh, my little Chaeli “China girl”!!! (That is what Abbey keeps saying.) I cannot wait to see that happy, beautiful baby girl! Loved the montage, especially seeing Chaeli “live – in action”. She is such a perfect little gem. God has answered all our prayers, and then some! I just got the blog and read through everything! What blessings! I am so happy for you, and praying that you will have a smooth transition back home. Also, after reading about your Chinese sister, I thought you would like to know that Cordelia means “heart”. I think she was well-named, and thank God for placing her there with you! I cannot wait for the day that I will get to meet Chaeli…what a miracle and testament to God’s love!
